Let us begin, by extending a  warm welcome to ISM MUN 2020 and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. It gives us immense pleasure and honour to chair this splendid committee.

As your dais, we would like to introduce ourselves. My name is Gautham A. Upadhyaya and I am the Director of this committee. It is my sincere pleasure to serve as the director for UNHCR. This will be my third Model United Nations experience and first time chairing a committee. Devansh Chaudhary will serve as the Assistant Director of UNHCR.

We are extremely exhilarated to see you all at the conference andand come up with effective solutions to the problems being faced. ISM-MUN 2020 will be the best chance to gain unforgettable memories.
