PRESS CORPS
DIRECTOR
To start off, my heartiest welcome to everyone in the Press Corps committee. I, Ryan Ritish, the Director for this year and I am looking forward to working with you all.

I am currently studying in 12th and MUN has been part of my life for 4 years, that is, ever since 9th grade. In 2017 and 2018 I was a member of the Press Corps as a photographer where I had a lot of fun and could make a lot of new friends. Lot of good and fun memories were made which I will never forget for a long time. And in 2019 I was awarded the post of Assistant Director of Press Corps. I was very happy and excited and the experience was amazing. Even though it was tiring and the work becomes very serious, we all could still have fun and make beautiful memories.

And now, for 2020, I have been selected as the Director of the committee and I am very excited to work together with all of you as a family. This year we will work as hard as we can to bag the best committee award of ISMMUN 2020. I am hoping that everyone will be able to have a great time and we all can have a successful MUN.

A hearty welcome to the Presscorps Committee of the ISM-MUN. I am Akhilesh K Rajesh and I will be the Assistant Director of Press Corps this year. Press Corps is a committee that provides you with an opportunity to explore something unique, enriching and exciting. It offers you an opportunity to be that journalist you've always dreamed of - to formulate reports, conduct interviews and tell the world what you've seen, or you could be that photographer who captures memories and preserves them for the years to come.
Last year when I joined Press Corps, I was hoping to learn a lot, to experience MUN, debating and what it felt to be a journalist. But nothing could match the roller coaster ride I went through. One with joy, curiosity, pain, excitement, anger, embarrassment and jubilation. But what matters is that, in the end of the day, I walked back home thinking 'How good was that day?' with a smile that covered my entire face.

So buckle up, because you are in for an experience that you'll cherish forever.

Dear Delegates,
I, Prajit Kalathil, would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Press Corps! I will be the Deputy Director of Press Corps, ISM MUN 2020, and eagerly look forward to working with you.

I’m currently studying in class 12 and this year will be my third year taking part in ISM MUN, I have experienced MUN both as a delegate (ECOFIN- Lithuania) and as a member of the Press Corps (Photographer/editor) and this year I will be the deputy director of this committee.
​
Last year, as a member of the Press Corps, I was tasked with the immense responsibility of having to report the sessions as it took place and aiding in creating the Awaited MUN Report, which was published on the official website, I was given the responsibility of collecting photos of the event as a whole and taking interviews with fellow journalists, and also organizing the editing process.
​
Looking back, regardless of how tiring it was, I learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the challenging two days. Being a part of press corps felt much more than being part of a regular committee, press corps is a family and I took home a lot of memorable moments along with a lot of values and I look forward to another successful year.
