CCPCJ
DIRECTOR
I am Tanisha Singh of Class 12-C. MUN has always been something I looked forward to every year and it is an honour to be back for my fourth successive year, staffing as your director.
As I have always been a rather curious and creative soul thus I often indulge in art, singing, writing, public speaking and dance. In my free time, I learn accents of the world, and I aspire to become a surgeon.
I have appeared as the delegate of Switzerland to ECOFIN and the delegate of Afghanistan to SPECPOL at ISM MUN 2017 and 2018 respectively, and received a verbal mention at both. However, at ISM MUN 2019, I had the opportunity to take up the challenging role of the delegate of Israel to LAS which earned me the title of Distinguished Delegate.
ISM Model United Nations has served as a wonderful learning platform that helped me develop a holistic world view, instill the importance of thorough research and appreciate the significance of team work even at a global level. And this year, it will be a truly exciting experience to share the joys and trying times of an MUN session with all of you!
TANISHA SINGH
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
AMRITYA SINGH
I am Amritya Singh of Class 11-A, and this is going to be my third year in ISM MUN. It's going to be an honour serving as the Assistant Director of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ). Besides MUN my interest lies in sports, music and travel.
My journey in the MUN began in 2018 as a delegate of Afghanistan in UNHRC. The following year, I was part of League of Arab States (LAS) and was allotted the country of Qatar. I contributed in presenting suggestions and ideas to resolve the conflict in an effective manner. As a result, I was awarded the best delegate of my Committee.
MUN helped me express my views about the various issues in the world and I found it to be a perfect platform for young leaders like us to express ourselves and participate in important decision making processes. We stand to gain knowledge and values about life through various debate sessions and research involved. I am sure that everyone will enjoy themselves and have good time in the ISM MUN 2020.
