DIRECTOR
Hey there! I’m Joshua and I will be your Director of European Union this session. This will be my 3rd year participating in ISMMUN.
In my 1st year, I represented Latvia in the ECOFIN. Though I didn’t win any award, I thoroughly loved the experience. In my 2nd year, I represented the USA in UNSC. Unlike last time, this time I took part avidly in the session and spoke up whenever I had the opportunity. I ended up winning the Best Delegate award.
Attending MUN enhanced my cooperation and teambuilding skills which have helped all the way from the classroom to the basketball court. It has even developed my awareness and focus which have contributed tremendously towards my success in quizzing.
I hope that ISMMUN 2020 acts as a stepping stone in your journey of self-discovery and that you depart with a broader view of our world. :)

Welcome to the committee of European Union, ISMMUN 2020. I am Quazi Mohammad Ashaz Ali and will be staffing this committee as your assistant director this year.
​
I have immensely enjoyed being part of MUN as it has enabled me to gain a set of skills and open up new experiences and My objective has been to be a diplomat in the United Nations or to work in any N.G.O and MUN has prompted me to follow my dream.

I have had 3 mun experience, firstly, I have been in the committee of UNHCR as the delegate of Thailand, winning verbal mention in I.S.M M.U.N 2018, secondly, in the committee of UNGA as the delegate of the sultanate of Oman, winning special mention in International MODY school M.U.N 2019 (Rajasthan, India) and lastly, as a delegate of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the committee of UNICEF winning Best Delegate in I.S.M MUN 2019.
This would be my 4th continuing M.U.N, giving me a marvelous opportunity to serve as your assistant director. It would be my extreme privilege and honour servings as a dais member and would be looking forward to some fun and productive sessions.
