Dear delegates,

Welcome to ISMMUN 2020, and a very warm welcome to the European Union. The committee will be staffed by Director Joshua Armstrong and Assistant Director Quazi Mohammed Ashaz Ali.

MUN is a platform for delegates to learn more affairs that confront different parts of the world, to embrace your diplomatic and articulation skills, and enhance your teambuilding and cooperation skills. MUN also inculcates the habit of listening to differing viewpoints and considering them objectively. It encourages delegates to engage with different members who have different positions on issues to find common ground.

We hope this will be an important step in your journey of self-discovery. We trust that you will emerge from this experience with enhanced research skills, listening skills and an appreciation for the complexities confounding our world.
